THOLIN

Tholin is a keyboardist, instrumental programmer from Winchester. He's defiantly an unknown but has some pretty good tunes that could become fairly popular in the feature. He arranges all finalized mixes of his own songs. While out sourcing the mastering to a close friend. His projects include Falcostern as his first band that he started in collage in 2014. In May 2015 he would self-release his first album, a two song single released on vinyl cd-r, featuring an album cover printed on parchment paper. In 2019 he stepped back from music for a few years. He returned in 2022 with his new project White Shadow and finished two new songs in August of 2023 however a release never materialized until September 2024. In January 2024 he started a new project under the name Cestus. Finishing the final mix in July 2024, then released digitally in August 2024. In September. Though the future is unclear for his plans with all projects, it is certainly clear Tholin is a master of his own craft and style of music. His songs definitely fluctuate in style and sound but gives a fresh look into an evolving style of Dungeon Synth. When asked about his style of music he replied with "I myself can't pin point exactly what style I'm going for besides dungeon synth. I know I like to mess with many different sounds and inner twine vibes without going overboard and not swaying from that rustic medieval sound. But I think I am starting to come into my own with some of my projects. However I may just continue to experiment with different sounds over the upcoming years. He concluded with a quote "If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, of what, then, is an empty desk; a sign? Written by Laurence J. Peter and sights this quote as the main influence when he recorded "The End of Adventure" for Cestus.
